This reminded me that in those far off days when I used to gig around pubs
on guitar( all 4 chords) the words went....
A: Matches, matches , jada jada jing jing jing
A: diito
B: You can strike `em on stone, you can strike `em on glass
I`ve got a sister who can strike `em on her.....elbow
A:Matches, matches, jada etc
then a tag of `not Swan, Bryant and May`
with the Bryant and May sung in the wellknown fashion of `good evening
friends` with a crashing discord on `friends`
`Swan Vesta`s and Bryant and May were both immensely popular brands of
matches in the UK at the time.
Simple times, sigh....
