Bill Gunter asked if others were familiar with the term "Release" as meaning the same thing as the bridge. Yes, the term is commonly used interchangeably here in the Eastern USA. I think, but am not positive, that the modern jazz players make more use of the term "Release" than they do "Bridge". Cheers, Steve Barbone
