Thanks, Kurt, for your efforts and humor! It shows that this "probably
representative sampling of the DJML" is, indeed, a composite of worldwide
music lovers!
And, just as an aside, "Mars" really does exist here on earth--it's a small
town in Pennsylvania, close to Pittsburgh, and I believe it is in Moon
Township! Steve? Any corrections?

Kurt & List mates:
Roses to Kurt Bowermaster for thinking of and taking his time to do a
quick survey.
Thorns to everyone who has suggestions of how to change it, what to add,
what to subtract, how to define things, how to spell, how not to spell,
and so on.
Kurt, thank you for doing it. Remember what George Carlin said: Rule 2
for happiness.
"Rule 2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down."
I am a Professional Musician, (2nd time around) Retired, Make money
playing music. Wife, investments and Social Security and Pension produce
much more. Lead a 6 piece Dixieland Band. Play as a sideman in other
bands. OKOM, BeBop, Straight Ahead, Soft Jazz (Gershwin, Kern, McHugh,
Porter, et al.) in trio and quartet form. Play Jazz because I want to.
Do not play other musical forms because I do not want to. Former member
NYC local 802 AF of M.
BA, MA, LLD, SOHK, PMD twice, CAH (CAH a secret, but first word is
Certified and all of us have been at one time or another) :-))) VBG.
Take what you need for the survey, and thanks again for doing it.
