Well, the last time I tried to promote an evening of fun to the Hearts and
Chocolate Crowd on Valentine's Day was in Fresno, California.

Big beautiful Ballroom at the Hacienda Hotel, holds about 1000 folks
intimately, I spent a ton of money on Radio, and Newspaper adds, Had Lovely posters
and flyers all over the City and surrounding counties.

Six warm bodies showed up, and one was a very lovely blue eyed Australian
Sheep dog, it's owner who was not Little Bo Peep, but had four lovely females
with him.

The Hotel management would not allow them in the ballroom, some ridiculous
rule about pellets on the carpet surrounding the dance floor, so I had the
orchestra play the Sheepherders Lament (There Will Never be another Ewe) and we
went home.

I think that qualifies as an OKOM tune.

I have not attempted to promote a Valentine's Day event since then. It's
just not a Crowd thing, and the holiday does not work well for most musicians,
especially those who have more than one sweetheart at a time. :)))

Drummers own lots of stock in Chocolate factories, and Rose farms. :))

Tom ("I can't give you anything but Love") Wiggins

Lost all my money in a Chocolate factory who decided to make Cocaine (Nose
Candy) and the Flower farm I invested in, ground up the leaves and sold em all
over the USA as imported Colombian herbs for smoking. They had no idea the
distributor was mixing them with medicinal cannabis and selling them to sick in
the head musicians.

I do understand however that those business have been revived and are
thriving now that I no longer own the stock, What was it? Enron Enterprises was the
holding company I think.
