Perhaps worth mentioning that the Keg Purnell listed was from Charleston and 
no relation of the possibly more internationally know Purnells from New 
Orleans. Also, Henry Allen, Sr.'s business card reads, "Allen's Brass Band, Music 
Furnished For All Occasions ........… Henry (Red) Allen, Leader" so technically, 
"Red" is applicable to both father and son.
