PayPal scams are not uncommon, although in this case it's not a PayPal scam,
it's a virus. The PayPal message is just a way to try and trick you into
opening the attachment.

Never open any attachments unless you're 100% sure you know what you're
doing. Especially dangerous are attachments that end in .pif, .src, .exe,
.com, .bat, .zip (.zip can be a legitimate file, but lately I have seen
viruses coming in this form so these should be avoided too unless, again,
you are 100% sure you know what you're doing).

Sometimes a virus will have a "double" extension to try to make it look like
a graphic file; "picture.jpg.src" would be an example. You look at the file
name and see picture.jpg so you think it's a graphic, but it actually has a
.src after it making it a file that can be run on your computer and not a
graphic.
