There IS one tune that you really need to count on though.
It's called "Funny Fumbles".
I can't remember who FIRST recorded it, but the New
Black Eagle Jazz Band did it some time ago. The chorus has
Not 12,16, 24 nor 32 bars - but 28! -- on purpose. You have
to "turn it around" while your brain is just dying to put in the
standard chord sequence for the expected 32 bars.
