A while ago on one of these news groups someone was bemoaning
the lack of King Cole Trio re-releases on CD. Maybe there are more, but
I just ran across one on sale in fact. It's a CD re-issuing WW II vintage
KC Trio songs ($9.95 + shipping). I ordered one. I will not be responsible
if this is an Internet scam, as this is the first time I have ordered from
this site.
BUT you CAN order by mail, not just over the web. So check it out as if
you had just found it yourself-- PLEASE.

The link for the CD list is :

There are some other interesting re-issues here too. BUT, this is an
eclectic list,
so jump past the Tibetah Sacred chant CDs (or whatever they were).
To the title: NOSTALGIA & TRADITIONAL JAZZ

THere's some
early Kenton, Art Hodes, and a big Art Tatum "album" plus an incredibly
eclectic set of popular songs in one kit all the way from Gene Autrey to
Lennie Tristano in one collection, but including some well re-stored early
Jazz. (Freddie Keppard still sounds like he's blowing through
 a gas pipe, though.)

The tunes on the King Cole Trio CD are:
Swingin' The Blues What'cha Know Joe Do Nothin' Till You Hear From Me Hit
That Jive Jack Poor Butterfly These Foolish Things
Rosetta The Man I Love Liza I'm In The Mood For Love D-Day Smooth Sailin'
Ain't Misbehavin' Boogie A La King
Knock Me A Kiss Sweet Georgia Brown Blues In The Night Don't Blame Me Three
Little Words Body And Soul
How High The Moon I Got Rhythm Sweet Lorraine Honeysuckle Rose The Man I
Love (Version 2) Bring Another Drink
I Can't Give You Anythig But Love Miss Thing Don't Blame Me After You've
Gone

Don't click on these, I don't know if they'll work. Anyway half the clips on
that site don't come up anyway.
Regards,
Craig
