I agree that it's a very different perspective if you are a musician or a
listener. I have held my opions of this thread to myself up until now but
have finally given in and decided to throw in my own nickel.

As a listener, I can't stand to hear "Shimmy Like My Sister Kate" unless
it's Bob Schulz doing the Shimmying.

As a performer, I get most upset when someone requests that we play "Out On
the Freeway", or "Far, Far Away."
