Now, the Columbia/Legacy set (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00004WK37/qid=1102437082/sr=1-29/ref=sr_1_29/002-5807894-9846403?v=glance&s=music), issued in, I think, 2000, is nothing to sneeze at.  I'm not saying Mr Davies' work isn't its normal great, but this particular set wasn't hailed as "the Rosetta Stone of jazz" for nothing,
