9 year old Jazz violin sensation Jonathan Russell will be performing with The Barbone Street Jazz Band at a wonderful September event. If you are in the area, don't miss it.

WHERE: The Laurels at Landhope International Autumn Celebration. West Grove PA. On some beautiful Chester County farmland one mile from the intersection of Route 41 and Route 1 in West Grove PA.  Signs posted at the intersections. Exit Route 1 onto Route 41 North. Go 200 yards to Woodview Road. Right on Woodview. Event is one mile on right.

WHEN: Saturday September 11 and Sunday 12. From 1 PM to 4 PM. Rain or Shine. In the Restaurant Tent.

COST: $10 to park your car.

The event is a weekend of Combined Driving Competition for Horses and Carriages, From Friday, Sept. 10 through Sunday, September 12. See (www.laurelscde.org). There are over 110 entries. Friday features Dressage, Saturday the Cross Country Marathon complete with hazards all visible for spectators and Sunday, the Cones Course.

Saturday Sept. 11
10 AM to Noon - in the patron's tent. TRIO, straight ahead jazz.

1 PM to 4 PM   - in the Farmhouse Restaurant Tent w/JONATHAN, 7 piece Dixieland

6:30 to 9:00 PM - at the Competitors Party QUARTET - Jazz & Dance. SOLD OUT.

Sunday Sept. 12
10 AM to Noon - in the patron's tent TRIO, straight ahead jazz.

1 PM to 4 PM   -  in the Farmhouse Restaurant Tent w/JONATHAN, 7 piece Dixieland

There is something for everybody including:

1) International Carriage Driving Competition

2) Medieval Renaissance Village + Mock combat in full armor, archery, fencing etc.

3) Boutique shopping at the trade fair.

4) The Farmhouse Restaurant (excellent)

5) The Barbone Street Jazz Band in various modes.

If you are in the area, fall by. Parking is $10 per car for one day, or $15 per car for all 3 days. The event is spectacular as is Barbone Street and Jonathan Russell.

OCTOBER 30, Beaux Arts Ball Halloween Fund Raiser. Constitution Center, Philadelphia 7 PM till? Best and most outrageous party of the year in Philly. Costumes welcome. 3000 revelers expected.

NOVEMBER 5 & 6, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, Dover DE. Noon to 5 PM Both days, Saturday & Sunday. Headlining the 3rd annual Dover Downs Wine & Jazz Festival. Taste fine wines, play the slots, dance and/or listen to some fine jazz. Stay the evening and dance to Tito Puente Jr. whose band plays a fiery brand of latin dance, using his dad's charts. He goes on at 8 PM.
