[Dixielandjazz] AFJS DEMISE????????

Reports of the demise of AFJS may be premature. I just got a mailer from 
them on Monday. A four page brochure stating that they were seeking a 
new President and trying to keep things going. Anybody else get the mailer?

They were also asking for dues money.

My address is on file with them since I had written to them about their 
"booking" services and other aids for OKOM bands., about a year ago. 
I've been receiving newsletters infrequently since then.  I never joined 
as a band because they seemed not to have anything of interest to our band.

Unfortunately, I don't have the copy in front of me as it was recycled.
