Correct.  There is no evidence, that I am aware of, that Armstrong had
gonorrhea.  However, in view of the time and place and fact that there was
no curative treatment until penicillin, that might be a strong possibility.

Gonorrhea is a common cause of infertility in the female because of
adhesions and infection of fallopian tubes.--As some patients would say, " I
got pus tubes!"  It can cause all kinds of complications in  males as well,
including urethral strictures.

Let's not argue about this further.  The fact that there were no offspring
from his wives suggests that Louis himself had an infertility problem which
was, presumably, never investigated.
