[Dixielandjazz] Great pianists

Practically all of Confrey's compositions have already appeared on piano
roll (I have done several - Zez himself also made quite a few). Likewise
Gottschalk's stuff is well represented on roll, I must say that his music
never did very much for me.

Not long ago Artis Wodehouse released an album of Confrey rolls (on the
Nonesuch label I believe).

Schnozz Durante was a ragtime pianist in his early years, to my ear his
playing was competent but not great.
