[Dixielandjazz] The talk about "Keys"

Interesting thread going  about which keys are preferred on certain tunes.

I never dreamed Jack Teagarden had a problem with any key whatsoever.  When
I played along with his "S. Rampart St. Parade" , the one with Don Goldie,
Don Ewell et al, I found that they were in "C" rather than the usual, Eb-Ab.
(No, the player was right speed)

It sounded great of course, and I enjoy playing it in that key as well. I
would like to convince others to try to play it in C.
