[Dixielandjazz] Fans who tape

I'm sure that happens but a lot of fans I know taped performances and bought
recordings.  The tape is an aural snap shot of a moment otherwise lost in
time.  A good Jazz Band is creating something that is different from what
came before and what will come.

altho the blathering that goes on on the djml
does not suggest much in the way of brains
but a hearty AMEN to what you had to say
these OKOMers are famous for going on and on
about their love of the music, then do nothing
to help keep it alive, even going so far as to
tape live performances to get out of buying a cd
makes a live musician who makes his living
playing this music a little ill
