Dear Chuck,
"Fair And Square (Andy Razaf-Ada Rubin) does have a chorus of lyrics, which can be found on the Fats' Waller record made
on 1 July 1938.
Well articulated and simple and easy enough to copy down.
Fats version is the only 1930s version I know of.
It is on LP and CD.
Try and find the RCA Bluebird series: Fats Waller and His Rhythm. 'A Good Man Is Hard To Find" [album title]. The Middle
Years Part 2 (1938-40). A great 3CD set of rare and popular Fats' titles.
Or look for Volume 14 (1938) of the French Black and White LP series (RC 230).
