Dear Bill,
There was indeed an Australian band (from Melbourne) called 'Buster Hymen
and the Penetrators'.
They were formed for Australian Jazz Convention appearances and Turk Murphy
would have known about (maybe heard) them at
the 33rd Australian Jazz Convention in Adelaide South Australia (26-31 Dec
1979).
