Hi Jim:

Lil Hardin, a classy woman from Memphis and fine musician, was Louis' 
second wife.  The first was Daisy Parker, not classy at all, whom he 
married in 1918 in New Orleans.  The marriage was not a success, 
needless to say. . . .<G>.
