Hey all,
did anyone know Norman Prentice? here's the link to his obit (if you want

Norman G. Prentice, 74, of Boise, Idaho, passed away, Nov. 19, 2003. He was
born May 12, 1929 in Wray, Colo. and resided in Las Vegas for 45 years. He
was a musician and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Norman started playing trumpet in the fifth grade and played professionally
by age 12. In 1953 he moved to Las Vegas and joined the Stan Kenton
Orchestra. He joined Louis Prima and Keely Smith at the Stardust in 1960.
Norman played for President Kennedy's inaugural gala in Washington, D.C.
Over the next several years he played for many top name acts, including Dean
Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Elvis, Barbara Streisand, several Jerry Lewis
telethons, Sonny & Cher and Ella Fitzgerald. Norman is survived by his
daughter, Kristine Watkins; and son, Richard Prentice. Memorial service at
11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 24, at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel in Boise, Idaho.
