[Dixielandjazz] Why announce a gig?

Maybe because:

1. Sundays in the SF Bay Area are a very busy time for trad jazz bands
and fans?
2. Antioch is at the "edge of the world" for many people who do not
want to drive far on a busy traffic /night?
3. Wallace Arms is a new venue for this kind of music and people don't
want to go exploring?
4. After many years of "The Prince of Wales" Pub they don't want any
more Bangers and Squeek?

I am not saying these are really great reasons to not see any group,
but they are reasons.

I am guessing there are at least 50 people on DJML from the SF Bay Area
and more than likely they were either playing a gig or watching some
other band or bands...

Anyway, please remind us again closer to the next gig (but before
Thursdays so I can announce it on my radio show!)
