If a few Really Good OKOM bands started participating in things like this, it 
could start to get some much needed exposure of OKOM to the movers and 
shakers in the industry to let them know that it indeed is not dead.   It does not 
matter if you win or not, it is promotion and publicity, you never know what 
might come of it.   

Promote yourself shamelessly to anyone who will listen, they might like you.
