What makes Dorsey's 1027 sessions even more remarkable is that he did not
hang out in recording studios all day, as Teagarden did, in order to pick up
gigs.

This could develop into a real 'anorak' discussion but I have just checked
the Tom Lord discography and the following number of sessions are listed for
each of the following:-
Vic Dickenson 390 sessions
Jack Teagarden 514 sessions
Miff Mole 487 sessions
Lawrence Brown 706 sessions
Tommy Dorsey 1072 sessions
On the basis of the work of T.Lord I hereby declare Tommy Dorsey the
winner!!
