        Thanks for your post yesterday of the sevices for Peanuts in Denton.

        He came thru Del Rio some years ago on a Community Concerts tour
fronting a big band lineup of the Glenn Miller organization - a most
entertaining evening.  One should take every opportunity to hear a good
"big" band play the swing classics - sounds you don't hear very often now.
Recordings can't duplicate the sensation of being there and listening to the
real thing,  but we all know that, don't we.
