Hello all,

The Library of Congress "speech" project continues with the following
updated items :

1652 A - Monologue on Bill Johnson, early jazz bands, and band leaders.
Ragtime tunes of the first cabarets.

1652 B - More early Cabaret tunes.   "If I Was Whisky and You Was A Duck."
"Hesitation Blues" really composed by Sidney Smythe (white) from Louisville,
Ky. in 1913.

1653 A - "They Called Her Frivolous Sal."   This AFS item contains
previously unpublished "Dust Jacket" comments (courtesy of Larry Gushee) as
follows : "How he heated up a sentimental tune in 1906. - Frivolous Sal."
