I also enjoy this album. It is not a "recreationist" CD like that of the
Peruna Jazzmen, and has a lot more energy and verve than the Bob Wilber and
a couple of other CDs I have. Essentially they play 'em as tunes, fool with
'em as jazz bands do, and sure kick butt...

As for "Too late" and "Tears", plus "Alligator hop", "I ain't gonna tell
nobody", "London Cafe blues", "Weather bird rag", "Chimes blues", "Canal
blues", "Zulu's ball",etc., I have transcribed them and made lead sheets that 
will be in my forthcoming
"Dixieland Fake Book, vol. 2". In fact, between DixFB vols. 1 & 2, I now
have sheets for all the 1923 Olivers. I need to do bits and pieces of work
on some of them, and an Oliver expert has promised to review all of them,
but most are usable, and I've got a deal for those who don't wanna wait
till the end of November (target date) for the book. Hit me off list.
