[Dixielandjazz] Greene's World Of Jelly Roll Morton

I just did a quick search on ebay, and came up with no hits on the album
(ARL1-0504 RCA Red Seal-1974)...don't ask me to sell mine. It is the
live version of the show apparently when it was in New York, with
commentary included.

Here is the lineup of the band:

Ernie Carson, Cornet
Herb Hall, Clarinet
Ephraim Resnick, Trombone
Alan Cary, Guitar
Milt Hinton, Bass
Tommy Benford, Drums
Bob Greene, Piano

Songs include:
Mr. Jelly Lord
Someday Sweetheart
Wolverine Blues
Buddy Bolden's Blues
Steamboat Stomp
Sweet Substitute
Kansas City Stomp
Big Lip Blues
Granpa's Spells
Winin' Boy Blues

So, the CD has more tunes, and no narration...but the LP has 1/2 of the
tunes that can not be heard on the CD. Both sound like a good addition,
if they are equal in quality music. I might have to give a listen to
the CD!

Jazzology Records have issued a concert recorded in the UK at Hatfiled
in 1982 with Ernie Carson, Herb hall, Bob Connors, Marty Grosz, John
Williams, Tommy benford and Bob himself. BCD-415. It's knock-out
