<<Did anyone on the list get to this concert? How was it? I was hoping to
go but had
very pressing matters that kept me away.

Thanks,
best wishes,

This was a fantastic concert. The church had great acoustics and the setting
was perfect.

They set up chairs to accomodate 250, but well over 300 showed up. So more
chairs went into the aisles, people stood around the perimiter and sat on the
floor down front.

The band was set on the alter with choir pews on either side facing center.
When the place filled up the began to fill the choir pews.

We had Kim Cusack on clarinet, Tom Bartlett on trombone, John Cooper on piano
and Gordy Lofgren on string bass. I used my highly prized, (and rarely taken
out of the studio), custom recording drums for this special event. (You can
view this rare set of drums on my website . . . they're the all-green ones)

Bob was pumped as well as was the crowd. For both Bob and I this was a
special homecoming and reunion with many friends from our past.

The band perfromed magnificiently. One attending clarinetist said it was the
best live music he's ever heard. One of Bob's longtime fans said it was his
best concert ever.

We did two hour and fifteen minute sets with a half hour break for fresh
strawberry shortcake and lemonade.

I recorded the concert, but have yet to review the recording. (Been very busy
lately with no let-up until later in August.)

If the recording turns out well, we'll release a CD of it all.

Sorry this took so long to answer.
