I just got up from a "peaceful" nights sleep. We had nearly 300 at our =
event
last night and wow!, was it a "beauty" We played a heap of Watters stuff =
and
brought the house down with "1919", "Wokka The Fish" and "Emperor =
Norton's
Hunch". Wish you were here as we do a society gig this afternoon for an =
ex
US now Australian San Francisco Jazz lover , Someone's got to do it!
PS Ian Smith, trumpeter, arrived from Melbourne with two right shoes in =
his
suitcase so I guess that got the band off on the right foot!=20
