Hello Duck Broadie

Your list of Bix duck calls quacked me up. Foul play indeed! Even cwazier
is the fact there are some genuine jazz related duck titles, eg:

"Ducks", Grant and Wilson (possibly with members of the Fletcher Henderson
orchestra), November 1928.

"Duck foot waddle", Les Brown,February 1939.

"Duck's quack", California Ramblers, May 1923 & Cotton Pickers, June 1923.

"Duck's yas, yas, yas", Oliver Cobb, August 1929; Eddie Johnson's
Crackerjacks, February 1932 & Three Peppers, December 1938.

"Ducky dish", George van Eps, March 1938.

"Ducky wucky", Duke Ellington, September 1932.

Now I'm ducking for cover,
Anton
