Noteworthy Composer is a cheap, reliable and easy to learn notation
processor that will accept input from a midi recording device.
You can buy it online for US$39.00. It's shareware; you get to try it for

I have no financial interest in the product, but have been using it for
several years. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's
excellent for my needs (transcribing big band charts) and for the price...
