You never know when brother John Farrell is pulling your leg!
" Sambo's Syncopated Russian Dance" indeed!
However (no kidding), it was composed by Andy Razaf and Jimmy (James P) Johnson
in 1930 for 'Kitchen Mechanic's Revue' at Ed Small's Paradise Club.
The revue also featured "Go Harlem', the bawdy "Elevator Papa" and "A Porter's
Love Song To A Chamber Maid".
