Thanks, Nancy Giffin, for that wonderful post on Oscar Peterson, and for
the web site where the complete article is located. Great stuff indeed,
and Oscar Peterson is a wonderful man besides being a wonderful pianist.

I think the reason Miles Davis hated him is because he thought Miles was
pretentious is saying that he was going to change the direction of jazz,
and Peterson told him so.
