[Dixielandjazz] Bass amplification

Hi All,

Just a personal opinion, but I prefer hearing a strong bass in any band.  If
the bass is coming through only faintly, the band doesn't have a full sound.
It's okay to say that the entire band should come down in volume, and I'm
certainly all for dynamic contrast, but when the hot sections get hot and
swinging, it's nice to be able to hear the whole group.  The bass should be
driving the hot sections, not getting buried underneath.
