Bill, I'm not momentarily connected with the djml.  Would you post a note informing all djmlers that the the Dixieland Jazz Society of the Desert March festival site has been changed from the Marquis Hotel to the Riviera Resort here in Palm Springs. Please refer them to our desertjazz.org website for details.  Please also have them contact interested non-djml members of this significant change.

For those who have made room reservations at the Marquis Hotel, it is especially important that they act immediately.  If they paid by check, they should immediately put a stop payment.  If they paid by credit card, they should contact and cancel their charge.  Inasmuch as the Marquis Hotel has been closed by the government for back taxes, they could lose their deposits if they don't act iright away. 

Please spread this word to as many as you can as fast as you can.  THIS IS NOT A HOAX!
