Hear Hear!!! Yes, how many of us know about Nuncio Scaglione and all
those other fine players of Italian descent? There was a even an
"Italian School", or "Italian Style" of clarinet playing in old New
Orleans. It left an imprint on the early music, (early 20th century)
that, as Jim says, is largely forgotten today.
Now, there's only Tito Martino. ;-)
