The current list thread on the "Village Stompers" couldn't be more
timely.

Frank Hubbell, leader of the V.S., has
put together a group of top South Florida musicians under the name
"Frank Hubbell's Dixieland Jazz Band" to do a
reprise of a number of V.S. tunes (Washington Square, Walk Right In,
etc. etc.) plus some other ringers.

Concert:  Sunday, January 26 at 1 p.m. at the monthly meeting of the Hot
Jazz and Alligator Gumbo Society (HAGS) at the
Elks Club on 10th St. in Pompano Beach.

Musicians include Frank,  tp;  Andrew
Gelt, clt; Hank Bredenberg, tb; Pat Hackett, bjo/guit; Irv Hackin,
guit/bjo; 
Tom Sheeder, bs/tba; and 
Ray Green, dr.

Concert lasts an hour, then HAGS jam session 'til 4:30.  Bring your horn
if you wish.
