Does anybody here remember the jazz (OKOM) scene in NYC in the early
'50s?
Condon's and Nick's in Greenwich Village and the two Bar Mitvah halls on
2nd Ave, The Stuyvesant Casino and The Central Plaza. Condon's and
Nick's had waiters in Tuxedos. The Casino and the Plaza had beer in
pitchers; $2.00 a pitcher. Such, such were the joys.
