Hi List Mates:
I had the pleasure of meeting Ruby in 1976 at one of the clubs on 54th
?St. 
I was on my way to a gig in Kennebunkport ME and stopped in NY to see my
brother. A classical oboist. We went to hear Ruby and both of us were
amazed at his playing and we talked with him and he was a charming man.
