The New Jersey Jazz Society Sponsored 34th Annual Pee Wee Russell
Memorial Stomp takes place on Sunday, February 23, from Noon to 5 PM. I
am there on clarinet with Tex Wyndham's Red Lion Jazz Band for one set
starting at 4:00 PM. Stop by and say hello if you are there. I'll be in
a red knit shirt with the band logo, black pants, drinking single malt,
ogling women.

Tex's band is like West Coast Revival style. Trumpet, trombone,
clarinet, Banjo, piano and bass sax. Come laugh at a "Chicago Style"
oriented player doing revival.

Event is at the Birchwood in Whippany NJ. It is about 3/4 of a mile
North of Route 10 on Birchwood road. Birchwood Road crosses Route 10,
just east of Route 287.
