Very interesting the huge contrast in opinions on the singer Cleo Laine
on DJML.....from the greatest to "I wouldn't waste my time..."!  Of
course, we've got a huge, opinionated crowd here, which is great!  

In general, musicians don't usually care for singers very much.  It's
probably the having to "accompany while the singer walks away with all
the praise" thing in many cases.

I would dispute, however, those that just wrote this gal off as an
acrobatic vocalist.  I repeat that she treated the Hoagy Charmichael
medley on the docu I saw with heart and talent rarely heard.
