[Dixielandjazz] More on San Diego Mardi Gras

One must look at the entire site carefully and in unbiased fashion.
There is a warning at the top center that you must be 21 years old to
enter the mardi gras "zone". Then there is a notation that "Hurricanes"
(very potent alcoholic drinks) are sold there as well as other alcoholic
beverages. And Budweiser Beer (a top US Brand) is a MAJOR SPONSOR. Etc.,
etc.., etc. They don't sponsor dry events. There are plenty of places
within the zone, bars, pubs, restaurants etc., at which to purchase
stimulants of this nature.

The prohibition on alcohol, guns, cameras etc., is that you cannot bring
them in from the outside. Apparently what happens there, stays there,
benefits the merchants and cuts down on pick pocketing of drunks. But
rest assured, alcohol, is sold and consumed in mass quantities on the
inside.

Also, a top attraction is Blues Singer Candye Kane, a Major Porn Star,
before becoming a blues singer and "Hot Mama" who rivals any OKOM singer
you can name for audience popularity. Don't laugh, she appeared at the
Ascona Jazz Festival (ONE OF THE TOP NEW ORLEANS JAZZ / OKOM FESTIVALS
IN THE WORLD ) this year and tours about 250 days a year. No doubt many
OKOM vocalists wish they were that adored, or were at Ascona.

Who else do we know that used PORNOGRAPHY as a stepping stone to get
into the highly charged show business world of OKOM? ;-)

Cheers,
Steve Barbone

PS. Not only that but she will sell you a pillow, wrapped by her very
large bra which she claims to have worn at least twice. Now that's
promotion, albeit shameless.

Wonder is Brittany Spears would sell me hers? :-)
