[Dixielandjazz] Victoria Jazz Festival/was declining festival attendance

Len,
I attended the Victoria festival for about six years in a row and have 
considered it one of the very best festivals.  I usually go to about 10-12 festivals 
a year.  Nobody has ever produced closing ceremonies that even came close to 
Victoria's.  The bands are always excellent and the friendliness and 
cooperative nature of the Canadian people is a real joy.  I never thought for a moment 
that there was bad management anywhere at that festival.  
I know that, for me, airports have gotten to be such a drag that I don't fly 
as often as I used to.  There have been times, however, when I, from SF, my 
brother from Phoenix, and my daughter from Kansas all flew to Victoria and met 
for the wonderful Victoria festival.
I hope that there will be a 2005 festival.  I plan to be there.
