Dear Kurt,
I disagree, although I did decide not to participate publicly in the gay
thread.

All the songs listed (in the gay thread) were certainly part of my KOM
lexicon.
The DJML is composed of 100s of (dixieland) jazz-loving individuals from
around the world, not all of whom share the same views regarding
international and regional politics, religion, sex, race, gender and the
like.
For that reason our 'rules' require that non-jazz subjects and beliefs
(however passionate) be kept off our list.
Which is why your original post on the above subject attracted some
opposition.
Perhaps if our very busy moderator, Bob Ringwald, has time he may wish to
remind us all, once again, regarding this important requirement of DJML
membership.
