[Dixielandjazz] LA Area Jazz Meet 12/7/03

This Sunday (12/7/03) the Valley Jazz Club meets 1:00 to 5:00 PM  at the 
Elk's Lodge, 20917 Osborne, Canoga Park CA.   The feature this month is Hal's 
Angels;  Hal is Hal Smith, the great drummer, the angels are June Smith, guitar a 
close relation and Anita Thomas, reeds ans vocals;  the rhythm section is 
completed by Mike Earls, bass and the blues and boogie ace Carl Sonny Leyland, 
piano and vocals.. 
Hot food and a full bar are available.  Admission $8, members $6, performing 
musicians free.
