Midnight Rose Jazz Band
Their musical approach is perhaps best described as eclectic,
mainstream Dixieland with a taste of swing and novelty tunes thrown
in. Formed in 1990, Midnight Rose fast became recognized as a fun,
crowd pleasing, regular on the jazz festival scene. Prominent on the
front line are two sisters, Nancy Kreis, clarinet and Dannie Balser
Singinghawk on trumpet. Five brave, talented men make up the remainder
of the band.

Musicians include:

Dannie Balser Singinghawk, Leader on Trumpet and Vocals
Nancy Kreis on Clarinet
Ken O'Brien on Trombone
Dave Cotter on Banjo
Rich Owens on Piano
Reuben Smith on Tuba, Bass
Carl Warmdahl on Drums

Spacious Dance Floor. The lodge has Food and a Full Bar.

One month later, NVDJS will feature the Jelly Roll Jazz Band on
Sunday, January 11, 2004 from 1-5 PM at the same location.
