Butch,

Your comment about Wild Bill brought to mind a concert we were doing with Wild Bill. Ray Iverson was playing baritone sax   (he is one hell of a player), Ray plays Charlie Parker style ( a lot of notes). After taking a chorus, Ray said to Wild Bill "am I playing too many notes, I can leave some out"? Which notes shall I leave out? Wild Bill replied "all of them".
