Rollo Laylan, according to John Chilton, was born in 1910 in Wisconsin. he
played with Whteman, Bewrigan, Hodes, Joe Marsala, Ray McKinley and led his
own group from 1951.

There is nothing about any physical handicap in the small bio in Who's Who.
