Both Milt Hinton and Sidney Bechet played sarousaphone in addition to
their other instruments. Bechet takes a bass sarousaphone solo on "Mandy
Make Up Your Mind" with Clarence Williams, Louis Armstrong,, and Eva
Taylor circa November 11, 1924 with Louis playing a delightful obbligato
to Bechet's low note foray. (Okeh label)

I believe this is the only recording of jazz sarousaphone.
