A couple of more Jazzy non-typicals: Sidney Bechet played something called a sarousaphone on his and Louis’ 1925 version of "Mandy", and doesn’t Trumbauer play bassoon on a track with Joe Venuti and Eddie Lang? I can’t recall the title, I’m afraid.
